Caitlin’s core competency areas include anxiety, depression, traumatic shock, complex trauma, pre-verbal trauma, phobias, domestic violence, sexual assault, and pre- and post-surgical therapeutic coaching.Ĭaitlin received her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Winona State University, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota who works with children, adolescents, and adults.
With a trauma-focused clinical approach, Caitlin seeks to provide a validating environment to challenge shame and to normalize trauma symptoms as expected brain and body reactions to abnormal experiences. Caitlin receives ongoing professional consultation to provide the highest quality EMDR and SE services to her clients (ages five and up). Caitlin is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, an EMDR Consultant in Training, and a Somatic Experiencing (SE) trained therapist at the Intermediate III level through Somatic Experiencing International.
